In the 1920s, the only difference between Nazis and Communists was that Nazis genuinely cared about their standard of living, and they pursued Nationalist (German) goals, not international goals.

Hitler carefully studied - and imitated - the political and bureaucratic strategy of Lenin and Stalin, before he seized the German government.
