The Israelis pulled off the most brilliant offensive in modern military history; the President orchestrated a genius misdirection; Iran’s regime is on its back feet from which it will not recover.
In wartime it’s particularly difficult to ascertain what’s happening. Governments have a natural and healthy instinct to hide from public eyes what is going on, even those fully democratic ones which in peace have some constraints on official censorship. Nevertheless, the fact that so many people around the world have video-capable mobile phones and access to the internet makes it harder to hide what is happening. All week long I’ve been looking at these videos, reading official IDF reports and statements by leaders of involved countries and they show that Stacey McCain and Lee Smith, whose takes I link to below, are in full accord with what I’ve seen. The Israelis pulled off the most astonishing, most brilliant offensive in modern military history; the President orchestrated a genius misdirection allowing the Israelis to cap off 20 years preparation for this attack; Iran’s regime is on its back feet from which it will not recover; Israel has saved the world with the assistance of a number of Arab countries and the U.S.; Britain under Keir Starmer has earned the disregard of the western world and was prudently left entirely out of advance knowledge of the attacks. Obama and Biden’s loony foreign policy gave the mullahs an almost two-decade opportunity to build their nuclear capacity which Israel, with Trump’s assistance, has destroyed. Finally, the war will continue for about a week or two, but I, at least, have no doubt about the outcome -- the end of the Mullahcracy.
Misdirection
Ido Hilbany wrote of the brilliant misdirection campaign Trump orchestrated with Netanyahu which allowed Israel to get into position

I hope it is the end of the mullahcracy.
LOL!!!!
Sounds like Clarice has a good buzz going.
“Elon Musk has activated Starlink over Iran so that civilians can more easily transmit outside the country after what’s left of the government shut down internet access.”
The Iranian people need guns to throw off their oppressors.
We should give them guns and ammo, lots of ammo.
It would give the world no end of pleasure to see the mullahs hang.
See tag line.
Folks like TCarlson are right to warn that such steps could lead to a broader war — we are already at war with Iran since they attacked public shipping thru their Huiti (sp?) stooges in the RedSea.
Yes, we should be aware of the risks, especially since Iran’s terror machine is fully capable of attacking anywhere.
That said, we must not forget that Israel in the only democracy in the middle East. An attack on them is always carried out by the same animals that chant “death to america”. Same people, same goal.
Think of Israel as the Spartans guarding the gateway. They are necessary.
**If true, it makes you wonder if the Trump - Musk spat was part of the misdirection....**
You can have a beer with me anytime-heh heh.
**we are already at war with Iran since they attacked public shipping thru their Huiti (sp?) stooges in the RedSea.**
No. Think 1979.
How soon will the movie come out like the one on the Entebbe raid? Perhaps the secrets coming out will take awhile. Article is very good including the X post of the naive limey who got his ass kicked protesting.
We’ve been at war since they made “Death To America” there official chant while Carter was President.
Come to think on it we’re still at war with Communist China since 1950, no peace treaty has been signed. WE have forgotten but they haven’t.
Muslim migrants have been entering Europe for over a decade. Israel is not guarding anything.
Indeed, these wars are driving Muslims into Europe.
Israelis are even volunteering to help Muslims enter Europe.
Excellent point, Angelino. They’ll zealously guard their own gates ‘til the cows come home, directing would-be intruders and troublemakers to our flimsy gates.
“Brilliant”
Ok, then. Let’s look at this logically.
One of the primary goals of “Operation Rising Lion” was to prevent iran from gaining a nuclear weapon.
Million $$ question:
What ONE thing is glaringly missing from any reports from the field???
In that absence, the corresponding absence from Netanyahu’s objectives of ‘regime change’ and failure to eliminate the ayatollah highlight the laughably insulting statement from the Israelis that this operation was meant to ‘cripple the iranian nuclear program’...which now only remains possible with the killing of the ayatollah.
The paradigm of all military operations is that nothing ever goes to plan. If the Israelis failed in that consideration and had no plan to secure intelligence on the exact location of the ayatollah - evidenced by their concurrent failures in both the first objective and what should have been ‘plan b’ - then Operation Rising Lion was never intended to do as Netanyahu stated.
It was intended to compel military action by the US.
“Brilliant”???
Just sayin’.
Personally, I feel deceived and have an overwhelming anger that we didn’t have 3 carriers ready to support the operation once POTUS was made aware.
The illusion of the US not directly supporting Israel’s assault served nothing but to magnify the danger of Israel’s failure.
The next chapter will be historic if “brilliant” does not bring about regime change and both a corresponding brutality against the IRG and IMMEDIATE invitation by the new government of officials to take inventory of the entire Iranian nuclear program and its materiel.
Otherwise, this is all academic (i.e., ‘next chapter’).
I truly hope the ayatollah has fled, but my other hand has filled due to other failures.
“ ersonally, I feel deceived and have an overwhelming anger that we didn’t have 3 carriers ready to support the operation once POTUS was made aware.”
Well the carriers would have been noticed.
And we can fly from lovely wide and long airstrips in Israel.
And, if you listened to what the WH said vs what the media said, you would not have been deceived. The WH very clearly said there was no air between Trump and Bibi.
The carriers SHOULD have been noticed, to apply pressure.
Otherwise, the whole “60 days” negotiation thing was just a ruse.
The question is, to what end...
