Going beyond taking out Iran's nuclear capability and Iran's military leaders and dragging us into some regime change/nation building scheme will be another costly disaster and enforce the world's perception that Israel and we are the world's bullies. There is nothing defensive about the latter.

We wasted billions trying to nation build in both Iraq and Afghanistan and it was disaster.

Neocon foreign policy must die once and for all.

is it me or was all this done rather easily. All the media has done for years is say how powerful the Iranian military is. This could have been done years ago. The Iran/Iraq war was comedy gold, but didnt realize they were this weak. Those Jews can fight baby...

You are too right.

The current situation is full of risk, no matter how the military advances go.

As soon as the bond markets open, on Monday morning, the US dollar will be facing a day of reckoning. There has been unprecedented weakness in the market for US bonds in recent months. This is because of the trade wars.

Now, there is a costly new military conflict. Who would buy US bonds in these circumstances?
