I rarely visit Facebook anymore as I have little use for that bastion of negativity and foolishness. That said, I was on Facebook a few days ago, and saw the following post reposted by someone I know, unfortunately.
“When someone uses the word ‘illegals,’ I am done listening to what they have to say. I live in America, a nation stolen from the indigenous natives, built on the backs of slaves, & [sic] made prosperous by the sweat & [sic] blood of immigrants. ‘Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.’ My country is not white. It’s not Christian. It’s American. It’s made up of people from around the globe. Humans aren’t illegal. But your dehumanization & [sic] demonization should be.”

I suppose we should no longer be surprised by the ignorance on display. Seen the same kind of BS various places. Like branDUHn said, ‘if it’s between truth and fact, they’ll choose truth.’ HUH? SMDH!
Show me a plot of land anywhere on earth that wasn’t previously claimed by someone else.
There is none to be found. ALL LAND on our planet is stolen land.
Which is to say they had lived there far longer than whatever Native American tribe preceded them.
