Iran's response to Israel doing nothing would be a mass casualty event in Israel.

Wouldn’t military strategy be to take out the missiles before attacking the nuclear facilities?

The “mass casualty event” would occur in Iran. Their MIC (Mullah Industrial Complex) would be wiped out. Islam’s proxy would be incapacitated, but more jihadis would replace the martyrs. The jihad would continue apace. The singleness of purpose remains.

A lot of posturing and spin right now in this situation.

Taking out Iran was the ultimate post-9/11 goal of the Neocons than began in Iraq in 2003 with the allegation that Sadaam Hussein had Weapons of Mass Destruction.

Well, here we are and how does one view this situation in the light of their own personal experience with their Higher Power...

“In the Book of Esther a former Iranian king wanted his wife to be a porn star...”

Wasn't just a year or less ago that Iran fired a "massive" barrage of missiles and drones at Israel and they were all shot down or ignored as off track and landed in empty places?

Notice that Iran never fears that an Israeli or US response to their attacks might be a “mass casualty event.” That’s one reason they keep poking the hornet nest. They always have thought it is empty and abandoned.

Well, obviously, Israel has to be concerned about the consequences of attacking Iran.

That's not news.

Nothing will be achieved by negotiations unless Russia is involved too. They provide the uranium to Iran.

Trading away the Donbas territories, in exchange for help reining in the mullahs, as bad as it may look, may be the only option to avoid a Middle East carnage.

One lesson from Iran’s last missile attack is that their missiles lacked the precision to be effective against military targets that are hardened or dispersed. But they are plenty accurate against population centers and other targets where missing by a few hundred yards doesn’t matter. On a large target like Dimona, they might not hit the reactor, but with enough missiles, they could certainly cause massive damage. Or you might get really lucky. The question is, how does Israel react to a large scale attack against population centers?

The U.S. is concerned Israel’s air defenses would not be able to handle an Iranian response involving hundreds of missiles, the sources said.

Such an attack, Witkoff told the group, could cause massive casualties and damage.

Its far better for Israel to suck it up and wait for Iran to nuke them because massive casualties and damage now are worse than those after being nuked ... or something.

Witkoff koffed up his wits apparently.
