The last time I spent any time in Chicago was the same time as the Chicago pussy riot. The night before the pussy rioters vandalized their way down the street in front of the building I was staying in, there was a pro illegal alien riot down the street behind the building I was staying in. I got to see the whole thing up close including the garbage fire they lit on the front of the building I was in.

No cops, they showed up toward the end to move the stragglers down the street to where the crowd was trying to flip a bus.

No fire crews, no DHS, no ICE.
