RE: Any day now Ukraine wins.

I know you’re being facetious, but Ukraine CANNOT win against Russia. Sheer numbers ( e.g. Russia’s population outnumbers Ukraine’s 3 to 1, Russia’s military is much larger ), preclude that. All Ukraine can do is do dqamage to Russia and be to Russia what Vietnam was to the USA in the 1960’s and 70’s.

Ukraine has done that ten times over. But your definition of what would constitute a Ukrainian victory is a laughable. Ukraine can never install an occupied government in Moscow, but that’s not its goal. Its goal is to preserve its own nation. Russia’s goal was to destroy Ukraine. Russia has lost. The only question is how many times over Putin will allow Russia to be decimated before Russia accepts defeat. No, keeping Crimea and the Donbas will not represent a win; Russia had those before the war started.

Ukraine CANNOT win against Russia.

Afghanistan won against the Soviet Union.

Afghanistan was much smaller than Ukraine.

The Soviets suffered much lower casualties in Afghanistan than Russia is suffering in Ukraine.

Afghanistan never was able to hit Soviet military targets deep inside of the Soviet Union.
