I have begun to consider that perhaps I’ll only move back to Florida when I can get there in an urn. If Florida ever really decides to do something about their alligator problem, I’ll consider it, but for now, they just give it lip service. These animals are not endangered anymore. Good intentions and all that, but seriously folks, it needs to be legal to kill an alligator again. At least until they’re under control.
I have a river in my backyard, there’s gators out there most days. If I want to use the boat, I just shoo them off the dock, they don’t seem to bother anything else.
Trolling with a small dog may produce a different result.
Depends on how you look at it.
Along with Florida’s other hazards, I see alligators not as a problem but as a deterant to northern interlopers. 😏
