My wife and I cut off a portion of our mutual families after Obama's election to keep them from infecting our young children. That portion enlarged after others became COVID Nazis 12 years thereafter.

It broke my heart how cousins I played with for years and were so close with, literally lost their minds. But it was the best decision we ever made, especially given what hot messes are several of their own children are now. I pray for them. But lost.

We’ve been lucky. Recently, we had a cousins reunion, with about 100 attendees. 21 first cousins, their kids, grands, greats...

After the first hour, it had morphed into a MAGA rally. We’re all on the same page. Sweet.
