A UFO whistleblower who testified last year before Congress praised President Donald Trump’s recent executive order on unmanned aircraft systems as “fantastic.”

Speaking to Chris Cuomo on News Nation’s “Cuomo” on Friday, Luis Elizondo praised Trump's order for finally listening to the American people. “The bottom line is, we don’t know what’s in our skies, and drones continue to be an issue,” Elizondo said, “It’s fantastic that this administration is taking this quite seriously. We have been calling for the creation of a task force for some time. And I think that it’s great news that government is finally listening to the demands of the people.”

Earlier in the day, the White House announced an order to “restore American airspace sovereignty.” The task force recognizes the growing threat of UAS and seeks to increase restrictions over critical infrastructure, develop new drone detection technologies, and create a “National Training Center for Counter-UAS to build the needed counter-UAS capacity to secure major events like the 2026 FIFA World Cup and 2028 Summer Olympics.”

In November of 2024, Elizondo, who previously managed a “Special Access Program on behalf of the White House and the National Security Council” said to Congress, “Let me be clear: UAP are real. Advanced technologies not made by our government – or any other government – are monitoring sensitive military installations around the globe.” Elizondo offered praise to Jon Kosloski, the director of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office for being willing to consider the possibility some drones may be extraterrestrial in origin.

“He’s not like the previous AARO director that was really just trying to obfuscate and push the narrative in one direction,” Elizondo continued. “Kosloski is very well trained, he has incredible experience in the intelligence community and he’s very well respected.”

ENSURING AMERICAN SOVEREIGNTY OVER ITS SKIES: Today, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order to ensure American sovereignty over its skies and a safe and secure airspace.

• Unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), otherwise known as drones, pose a growing threat as criminals, terrorists, and hostile foreign actors increasingly weaponize these technologies to endanger public safety and national security.

• The Order establishes the Federal Task Force to Restore American Airspace Sovereignty to review and propose solutions to UAS threats.

• It directs the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to establish a process to restrict drone flights over critical infrastructure and other public facilities.

• It instructs the FAA Administrator to make Notices to Airmen and Temporary Flight Restrictions freely available online for drone geofencing and Aircraft Navigation and Guidance system purposes.

• The Order requires the Attorney General and FAA Administrator to increase enforcement of civil and criminal laws against drone operators endangering the public, violating airspace restrictions, or committing a crime. It authorizes Federal agencies to use existing authorities to detect, track, and identify drones and drone signals, and enables state, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement agencies to access grant programs for similar equipment.

• The Order mandates the publication of guidance to help private critical infrastructure owners and operators employ drone detection technologies.

• It calls for a risk-based assessment to designate borders, large airports, Federal facilities, critical infrastructure, and military installations as protected areas.

• The Order directs the Attorney General and Secretary of Homeland Security to explore integrating counter-UAS operation responses as part of Joint Terrorism Task Forces that are stood up for mass gathering events.

• It also directs the Administration to create a National Training Center for Counter-UAS to build the needed counter-UAS capacity to secure major events like the 2026 FIFA World Cup and 2028 Summer Olympics.

ADDRESSING GROWING DRONE THREATS: President Trump is taking decisive action to counter the escalating misuse of drones.

• Criminals, terrorists, and hostile foreign actors have intensified their weaponization of drone technologies, creating new and serious threats to our homeland. Drug cartels use drones to smuggle fentanyl across our borders, deliver contraband into prisons, surveil law enforcement, and otherwise endanger the public. Mass gatherings are vulnerable to disruptions and threats by unauthorized drone flights.

• Critical infrastructure, including military bases, is subject to frequent—and often unidentified—drone incursions.

In the late 1980s I was a member of a small team that hosted a "UFO Forum" in Atlanta. We had numerous "big names" in Ufology make presentations. Sadly, we couldn't get Strieber to visit. There were a number of people who attended the forum who had been counseled by Strieber regarding abduction experiences. The consensus among those who would talk to us was that Strieber helped them quite a lot, and that he knew what he was talking about.

My conversations with abductees led me to understand that their stories were always similar, even when those women did not know each other or share stories. They generally came to the forum without the prejudice of prior reading about the phenomenon. Their accounts often sounded eerily similar to the "Interview with an Alien" story that emerged only recently. These women tell us that the Greys are remotely operated biological constructs; and, these are operated by mind control from great distances. They also report that Air Force officers were often present during the ordeal.

I met Strieber at an Atlanta event in the mid-90s. An old girlfriend dragged me to a strange new-age event (at the Merchandise Mart?), and he was there.

He gave a very earnest and personal talk in the corner of the room. I don't think there were more than 30 people listening to him.
