Baby, I got the platter that matters, Barry White and Big Daddy Kane on my quadrophonic stereo.
Come here, baby, come bring all of you to me
When I say I want all of you
I mean I want all of you
From your head to your feet
I wanna taste everything
From your lipstick to your toe nail polish
Communicate, brother
I want you, I want to
I wanna hold you, I wanna massage you
I wanna comfort you, I wanna soothe you
You know the way you’re standing still there
I wanna just lay on the floor
And make love to your shadow
Sounds silly, don’t it? Not really
But for real, let me come on over there
Run my fingers through your hair
Hold you near and undo that brassiere, my dear
Because tonight, girl, all of me wants all of you
(She shimmies out of her yoga pants)
My dating app 48 years ago was my church. It worked really well. Going on 50 years.
40 for me.
What’s up with young wojmen and those yoga pants anyway?
I saw a young woman wearing a pair in the grocery store the other day. Flesh or tan color, skin tight.
I did a double-take, thought she wasn’t wearing any pants.
Kids today, I swear.
The best way to meet a good person for a relationship is to not look for one.
It’s not the app per se. Before apps, there were “correspondance” clubs. The same predatory women wrote their bios and the same insecure men replied to them and hooked up with them, and discovered later that the women were after money and/or American citizenship.
There are about 12 of us who meet at a home; we talk, discuss scripture, sing some psalms and watch a video of an internet preacher. During COVID we were apprehensive that some Gestapo COVID team would come and bust down the door because we’re all meeting with NO masks. The horror LOL. Anyway, we love our small group.
They’re not “dating” apps.
We love our small groups, although one is getting larger.
The prison group is up to almost 40. I’ve been amazed at how fulfilling that has been, just over six months in of meeting once a week
