Are ancient alien theories pure fantasy or a lost truth? From pyramids to myths, history is full of mysteries that defy explanation. Could we have had a little extraterrestrial help?

“This is a sub genre of the whole UFO cult which is a religion for the wandering lost.”
Which is why the Bible is absolutely chocked full of metaphorical historical accounts...
I actually replied to the wrong person. Have you listened to, or watched Timothy Alberino or “Blurry Creatures?” I took you seriously.
Yup—the “follow the science” crowd goes into deep spin mode whenever the “race” topic is mentioned.
They are not just liars—they are cowardly liars.
Oh man, I am so deep into researching this topic I am absolutely obsessed with it. Every source I can get since Chariot of the Gods. The Biblical correlations alone are absolutely incredible... All the same ideology connecting around the planet from ancient cultures who did not even know each other existed at the time. Absolutely impossible odds the stories could all be the same by accident.
The is a whole lot that cannot simply be brushed aside... Far too much to just be coincidental... Everyday I find more and more connections...
Aliens? No. But, some evidence seems to suggest some kind of extraterrestrial, perhaps even supernatural assistance in the early dawn of man. I dunno, maybe fallen angels who were having relations with humans? Something along those lines?
No. The oldest human remains are over 100,000 years old. The ancient aliens theory relies 100% on our ignorance of the past, and in particular humans on the globe in the entire pre-ice age (b4 26,000 years ago), ice-age (26,000-12,000 years ago) and immediate post ice age (12,000 to 5,000 years ago) periods. There we are referring to the pre-flood world, of which modern ideas of human history know very little.
My bet is that pre-flood, pre-ice age history contains HUMAN civilizations we cannot imagine. What the ancient alien theorists claim is “alien” influence on some little understood great achievements - all post ice age - are achievements using understandings inherited from unknown great civilizations that preceded them, or were in fact not made by the peoples we assign those things to, but were things made by others who preceded them by thousands of years.
OK, so I wrote this because both of you have shown yourselves to be thoughtful, having the energy to deliver more than the mere quips to which FreeRepublic has degenerated over the last decade.
I've pondered Steven Jay Gould's observations about the "Precambrian Explosion" for many years, particularly for its honesty about evolutionary theory. He observed that after eons of two celled life, we suddenly had entire food chains from plants to predators with stomachs, brains, skeletons, bisexual reproduction, and presumably complex symbioses that has since declined both in the variety and the number of phyla. That history looks like a planet that was seeded, just to see what would take. A lot of it didn't.
Nor was life since that time fundamentally more developed, diverse, or complex ever since. DNA stayed DNA. The fundamentals of animals and plants have remained fairly constant. Even Gould admitted that the "Evolutionary Tree" was upside down, with massive die-offs due to various singularities. At least that thesis respects the Second Law of Thermodynamics better than does the theory of Evolution. Hence, life itself has respected that Precambrian singularity.
In fact, if one studies the Hebrew of Genesis 1 for what it literally says (as in concert with other Semitic languages), it refers to the same process of successive culling. The term "bara" is linguistically a word of shaping, removing undesired material producing chips and dust off a pre-existing workpiece. It is certainly not an ex-nihilo "Creation." That thesis does respect the Second Law. So what I've been doing is going through the Bible to extract this narrative, which I think originated among tribal shepherds as an "oral story," not of how things came to be, but how they work and what to do in the way of preparation by which to survive, a catastrophist's manual if you will of knowledge developed over 5,000 years.
So I'm not totally opposed to the idea that we are a planet under cultivation. After all, once one has physical laws knocked, what else is there to do but to cultivate life? It is, after all, a big universe.
I hope that makes you happy.
Charles Fort wrote, “I think we’re property.” :^)
Oh, I agree. There's a lot of "they couldn't have made this without power tools" etc etc. Yeah, y'know, the aliens came here with their interplanetary transportation technology just to show a bunch of cave people how to build pyramids. :^)
Could be, but it doesn't change what I'm going to do.
We have found evidence of dinosaurs that existed long before man but no alien evidence.

Nature is an outlaw—refuses to follow the “laws” of science.
You may be correct—but such ideas are as revolutionary to the modern academic community as the ancient alien claims.
In addition those earlier civilization humans may be so different from us in every possible way that they might as well be considered “aliens”.
One “out there” theory follows yours but with a twist. The highly advanced humans travel into the solar system and create settlements there—then return to Earth thousands of years later and are considered “gods” and “aliens” by the humans that remained and forgot the history.
That was one point detailed in "Alien Interview".
Given the number of really old civilizations that have been discovered recently, out of place artifacts, and plain old intuition, I believe our history is mostly unknown and quite complicated. Finding humans to be an ongoing college biology experiment wouldn't cause my eyebrows to twitch.
Thank you for telling all of us that engaging in any kind of discussion with you is pointless.
Not aliens, but the survivors of the previous civilizations.
“Finding humans to be an ongoing college biology experiment wouldn’t cause my eyebrows to twitch.”
Yes, we are Genetically Modified Organisms.
We did not evolve. We were modified one stage at a time. Each stage was given time to weed out the weak before the next modification stage. This is why each stage was unchanged for hundreds of thousands of years and then overnight became a newer advanced species out of nowhere and the previous disappeared at the same time. There was no “Gradual change” to it.
Yup, much more likely imho.
“No one will ever convince me that east asians, black africans and white angelos all descended from the same ancestor naturally.”
I am going to agree with you. Each was genetically Modified to be a new unique strain.
