Still going too fast - meant “kill” not kills...
when we were kids, we lived on tomatoes sandwich's in the summer.
Okey dokey.
I used to start mine from seeds. I would use egg shells that I cracked carefully so that I had 2/3 of an intact shell which I filled with potting soil, planted a few seeds and kept in an egg carton in the window. Come time to plant, I would hold the egg shell in my hand and carefully squeeze it so that the shell broke. The shell gives the plant much needed calcium. I planted mostly heirloom and had great crops.
That’s neat..Great imagination to come up with these ideas. I’ve looked at some You Tube on “How To” - great ideas there also. Sadly I’m past the age of being able to do any of that but enjoyed the many years when I was able...Those other years come around too soon...before we’re ready! Make them all COUNT!!!!
Rome was a Republic at first. No wonder it took them so long. The rats would have at least formed a foundation. We have been a Republic for nearly 250 years.
This is only Day 135; Rome was not reformed in two quarters even ...
I am getting there as well. I live near the coast and can’t get anything to grow in sand, even though I supplement it with gardening soil. The sun, bugs and funguses take all my garden no matter how hard I work at it. I have just given up now.
I had to comment on this one. WTH is a powder wagon? Your folks sound like they were fun people. Where are you from? My dad told me that my mom used to dance on tables. I remember repeating that tale when I was in 2nd grade.
Eggs?.................
Yep - can make good fried egg sandwiches - forget tomatoes - LOL!
Why does this feel like an illegitimate warning? How do you contaminate a fruit with salmonella?
If these were sold April 22 to April 29, wouldn’t they be eaten or bad by now?
