Even Obama was convinced that Crimea belonged to Russia. However, having said that, that was still the time to talk to Russia about what needs to be done so they don’t go imperialistic.

I am arguing that NATO was eventually planning on invading Russia, yes. You don’t expand towards Russia and militarize for no reason. The only reason to do that was because you were planning on eventually doing a blitzkrieg on Russia and get it done as quickly as possible. There is no other reason for why the West pushed NATO eastward. No other reason exists.

Sorry, that's crazy. Invading Russia would very well lead to nukes being used.

There is no other reason for why the West pushed NATO eastward. No other reason exists.

How about protection from a russian invasion? No one "pushed", former captive nations were eager to join NATO.

Finland dropped 75 years of neutrality with Russia, because it realized its agreements with Russia were worthless, just like all the agreements Ukraine had with Russia.
