Albuquerque is Memphis in the desert.

Old saying: Every bullet has a lawyer attached to it.
Responsible gun owners understand what that means. This Moe guy evidently did not.

A burned car?
Did Moe shoot the thief and then set his car on fire?

Shooting a shoplifter seems more than a little excessive if you ask me.....unless the proprietor felt his life was threatened....I suspect that’ll be hard to prove since the shoplifter was leaving.

“Thabata told police he was trying to shoot the tire, but instead, Sedillo was hit and killed. The car crashed into another vehicle in the Sprouts parking lot, then ended up across the street where it hit a curb and caught fire.”

Matthew Sedillo was recently released from jail after being found incompetent. He has a long criminal history of battery, shoplifting, burglary, and more.Moe is guilty of street justice. Vigilantism. When the State refuses to act and protect its citizens, then people like Moe must step up.
Not excusing the shooting, just explaining it.

Yeah. Right. If Moe had really aimed for the tire, Sedillo would still be alive.

New Mexico. Ugh. The whole state is another example of democrat disaster politics. Now this struggling small business owner that finally cracked under the weight of crime destroying his hard work will lose everything.
To: ChicagoConservative27
Maybe his lawyer can get that reduced to Manslaughter.
The business owner should not lose his freedom for protecting himself, employees and his business.
To: ChicagoConservative27
I’m not sure you can do that anywhere.

There are no redeeming qualities to that crappy city. I have to go there often to Sandia Lab. Once I get from the airport to Kirtland...I rarely leave the base until I fly home.

The shop owner experienced temporary insanity due to the theft. There is a reason one of the commandments is “Thou Shall Not Steal”. It make others go insane.
Do you think the shop owner would have shot and killed the perp if the perp had lawfully acquired the goods from the shop owner?
Maybe we need to chop off a hand of those who steal.
