I’ve sometimes wondered, if it came down to choosing sides between the United States and Russia, how many posters on this site would choose Russia?

Oh, they will protest that they aren’t pro-Russian, blah, blah, blah....But, really, how many would? We might be surprised...or not.

At this point the more I think about it I'm surprised both of them are still leading. I didn't see this war lasting this long either way but if I had to guess as to why my answer is - too many people on to many sides making stupid money.

At least one of them has flatly stated that Putin's Russia is the "last bastion" of Western / Christian values, and that it were better that Russia's nukes remained in Putin's hands than that NATO should assume control of them.
