May Ratings Are In! MSNBC and CNN Are About As Popular As the Black Plague

MSNBC fired some prime time “talent” like Joy Reid, and like a rotten tree falling in the forest, people took notice when she was canned in February. Before she was shown the door (and subsequently and predictably claimed racism), she delivered this banger: "Joy Reid racistly calls a white person “mayonnaise sandwich on wonder bread.”

Scott Jennings is popular on CNN because he is a voice of reason in a sea of screaming harpies. But Jenning seems to be playing music on the deck of a sinking Titanic. Will ratings for June improve while CNN slots programming designed to celebrate pronouns and men pretending to be women? Nope.

In the coveted 25-54 demo, Fox News averaged 262,000 viewers in primetime, which was up 32%, while CNN averaged 76,000 (down 21%), and MSNBC averaged 73,000 (down 34%). For total day in that demo, Fox News was up 22% with 180,000 average viewers, but CNN was down 27% with 59,000 average viewers, and MSNBC averaged 49,000 viewers (down 41%)

These numbers are pathetic.

The girls stopped "coveting" me when I hit 35. Now the TV stations have abandoned me, too. Being in an uncovered cohort is killing me. At least the dog still likes me. I'm not sure about the cat, though.

CNN? I remembered that name from cableTV decades ago. Now on satellite I haven’t seen it in years. Last night I went through my entire DirecTV schedule several times before I found it. Still won’t watch it.
I have not watched any news channels in years! With TRUMP back in I am back to watching FOX.

You’re on the right track. Look for Newsmax on your programming. I gave up on FNC back during the second Impeachment of President Trump. Never looked back.

Needless to say I gave up on the others many, many, years before that. I get Newsmax on my Dish Network package, and online. Glorious!

(don’t tell anyone else, but I did watch MSNBC/PMSNBC/MS-13DNC and CNN on last election night. It was for -ahem- schadenfreude research purposes)

I fear I will lose Mrs. Kit to Rob Finnerty. Or Carl Higbie. Grandma Kit, at age 91, is probably writing fan letters to Greg Kelly. That old farm girl is more MAGA than ten of us put together!
