Graham warns Putin of ‘new sheriff in town’

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) warned Russian President Vladimir Putin that there’s a “new sheriff in town” and that the Senate is prepared to act regardless of the next steps the Russian leader chooses to take.

In a pair of X posts and in a Wall Street Journal op-ed on Tuesday, Graham said Putin’s dramatic escalation in military strikes over the weekend and his two-hour phone call with President Trump last week reflect the “same ol’, same ol’ from Putin’s Russia.”

“Escalate to de-escalate,” Graham said in a post on X, naming Putin’s first strategy, before naming Putin’s second: “Drag it out, hoping others lose interest.”

“There’s a new sheriff in town,” Graham continued. “The old playbook won’t work this time.”

Graham praised Trump’s efforts to “bring Ukraine and Russia together to achieve a just and honorable peace, ensuring global stability,” in a Journal op-ed, adding, “Yet peace requires willing partners.”

“While Ukraine has made clear it is ready for such an end, Russia has made more excuses than the market can bear,” Graham continued.

He noted Trump has asked Putin to provide a term sheet with his requirements for a ceasefire, to create a path toward peace.

“Depending on how Russia responds, we will know which course to take,” Graham said.

Some updates of all that really matters.

OPEC+ has assigned Russia a quota of oil production of 8.98 million bpd (the metric ton equivalent).

Russia’s actual output was 9 million bpd as of late 2024 per their agreement with KSA, slight overproduction they promised to reverse Q1 2025 (and it looks like they have).

Consumption remains about 3.6 mbpd so there is zero evidence of scarcity, confirmed by about a zillion youtube videos of traffic on streets of Vladivostok, Krasnyarsk, Moscow, wherever. Russian production before they agreed to work with OPEC, creating OPEC+, was about 11 mbpd.

An important item . . . a barrel of Russian oil is called Urals and it tends to be more energy laden than a barrel of say, Bakken or West Texas Intermediate or even Saudi Aramco light. More diesel and kerosene (middle distillates) so barrel to barrel is not a pure measure, but it’s a good general feel.

Overall point being, Russian oil production is down per agreement with KSA. This ensures that if they turn down orders from China or India, those orders don’t get filled by another producer. That’s what a cartel does, after all. Create some scarcity to elevate price (not in dollars, in rubles and yuan).

Linda wants to insure that he’s invited to appear on the Fake News Sunday shows.

No where else is he afforded such a golden opportunity to saber rattle, and be a tough hombre’.

Graham needs to dust off his ROTC uniform.

Whenever Trump criticizes Putin in any way, Graham, the NY, Post, and other Zelensky supporters talk like it’s a done deal that Trump will get us into a war against Russia.

Medvedev is a typical drunk Russian.

Hilariously, the Russian elites prefer to get falling down drunk on American/Scotch whisk(e)y, etc., and not Russian vodka. Vodka is considered a low class drink over there.

How much would sanctions on Russia cost us?

Graham is a globalist war pig that couldn't give a hoot about undermining our own economic well-being over war that has nothing to do with our national security.

In history, the Russians simply withdrew and welcomed their attackers with open arms.
IE, Napoleon sent envoys to Russia explaining to them that if Russia didnt go along with Napoleons demands, he will invade. The Russians simply told them what they would do. Withdraw and welcome them with open arms.
Napoleon invaded. And lost his entire army. Very few made it out.

WW2. Germany invaded...and lost nearly their entire army. Very few survived.

So, these war whores gonna invade Russia again? One step onto Russian territory and the invading army will cease to exist.

This conflict was started by the globalists military industrial complex.

C’mon lindsey don’t be a pussy. If you want a war with russia, bring it to the floor for a vote! It’ll be great! Trading cruise missiles and hypersonics, and then someone pops a nuke, and then lots of nukes pop, and the world becomes a hell-scape. They might even save a nuke or two for patagonia and NZ. How deep is your underground shelter lindsey?

Lol. The man is an insane ignorant idiot.

Maybe we will get to see if its true concerning Russias Tsunami torpedoe.

Everything i have read point to it being a fact. But, nobody knows for sure.

Just think. A 100 to 200 foot radioactive wave hitting our east coast and another on our west coast.

I know that the US created one at the Marshall islands of around 3 to 6 foot in a nuclear test. And if they would have set it off at a different depth it could have reached double figures.

So hell ya Lindseed, lets get er done.

"Oh no Not a 17th round of “crippling” sanctions"

Only one less than the 18 U.N. Resolutions that Saddam Hussein ignored.

"Tell your Linda that The Putin isn’t impressed by threats from light-in-the loafers fags."

Lindsey Graham has diarrhea of the mouth. He always promises to hold an investigation to get to the bottom of things, but only ends up licking somebody's bottom instead.

Nobody takes cocaine-nose Zelenskyy seriously either. Zelenskyy and Germany’s Merz are meeting again soon. Who’s bringing the cocaine this time?

"Whenever Trump criticizes Putin in any way, Graham, the NY, Post, and other Zelensky supporters talk like it’s a done deal that Trump will get us into a war against Russia."

Wishful thinking on their part. We've got enough commies and fascists in this country that need to be destroyed. We don't need to be fighting other countries' wars for them. Let them handle their own messes this time around. The only time those people want to know us is when they need something from us. They need to grow up and deal with the problems in their own neighborhoods.
