Exactly, Ukraine is a very Christian country and very tolerant of non-Orthodox denominations like Catholics and Protestants, unlike Russia, and also unlike Russia, Ukrainians go to church.

The Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) is doing great in Ukraine.

Ukraine is mostly Orthodox and has left the Russian government branch for the the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) — which has been recognized as Ukraine’s national church by the ecumenical patriarch of Constantinople.

Sorry about making it look you were saying that about all of Ukraine, you probably meant your friends that you were describing.

That's how I hear about it too. It's not a war on Christianity; it's a war on Russia-Is-Totally-Awesome-Dude slanted Christianity.

It's be analogous to us conservative Christians being against the "churches" that push the hedonism LGBTQWERY bull crap.

This is exactly what I’ve heard from U.S. Christian missionaries in Ukraine who have worked freely and openly there for many years without any opposition from the Ukrainian government, including under Zelensky.
