Dude. Your continued doomposting is getting old.
Fine, let’s pretend there is absolutely zero chance of getting out of this mess.
Should we stop trying?
Let’s say nothing can stop the trainwreck.
Isn’t it best to slow things down and at least get a few more years?
Quit with the pearl-clutching, fainting couch routine for once in your life.
Math doesn’t care about discomfort and it doesn’t care if you like your awareness. Math doesn’t debate.
There is a solution and there’s only one solution. You will have to accept monumental upheaval and the destruction of society as you know it, particularly multi-generational misery for your children and their children, and as that process unfolds it will be much like math, and that it won’t really care that you don’t like hearing about it what life is like for your grandchildren.
You will have to declare national debt default, you will have to defund all courts that would hear lawsuits by bondholders who get screwed (the vast majority of the national debt is owed domestically so a default guts your own citizens, about which compound interest does not care), you’ll have to essentially shut down the government and that doesn’t mean half measures. That means reduce social security benefits payments to a level just below the payroll tax input, and then cut it in further in half from there on the presumption that payrolls will substantially disappear in the upheaval that will take place.
You can expect to have troops in the streets mowing down people who riot in whatever city happens to be handy. But that problem will be solved by compound interest also in that the military will get defunded.
About 1/3 of the way through all of this, the FED will start creating money. The inflation will not be concealable and fundamentally the only thing that will prevent foreign military invasion is the misery and devastation will be such that no one will want to invade and deal with it.
Estimated casualties from the upheaval? How about a modest 30% of the US population, concentrated on billionaires and any institution of higher learning. Those are the obvious targets.
