From day one of the invasion, Putin has mounted numerous attempts on Zelensky’s life. This fairy tale won’t change a thing, might even be a pretext for another attempt Putin’s people see as a sure thing. Why bother with a pretext? Because Zelensky is pretty popular. His demise might earn Ukraine an aid increase.
