My Czech cousin tells me that Czech Republic is no longer correct. They're going with Czechia, as it has more "action." Just for what it's worth...

If one is looking to make enemies in a hurry, just refer to the Czech Republic as ‘The Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia’

Prague has become a tourist-trap. If you want to get where it feels more Czech, go to Brno.

Maybe we’re cousins. My maternal grandparents were both born in Czechoslovakia, in Bohemia.

Interesting fact about Czechs leaving the rural areas of the country. Non of the Czechs that went to the cities immegrated to the US. Those that came to the US came directly from the rural areas.
