Was she negligent in general on set? I think the evidence seems to indicate that.

Was this particular incident her fault, not really cause she never inspected the gun before the guy gave it to Baldwin and said it was cold.

She went to prison because she wasn’t smart enough to walk off the job. You’re either a set armorer or you’re not, and when anyone, including the director tells you to violate standards, you walk away.

Yours is the most accurate of the comments, Gutierrez-Reed did have the legal and positional authority to walk off the job, close down the set, inform and require cooperation from the Sheriff, and walk away free and clear before the shooting occurred.

She failed to do that, and became Patsy.
