I don’t think the stock reality will be affected. Just the physical coin will not be made anymore and eventually fade away.

Do you want to pay 60 cents for something that cost 54 cents? the "rounded" price would be 55 cents
ending digits 0,1,2 results in "rounded" last digit of 0 - second to last digit remains the same
ending digit 3,4,5,6,7 results in "rounded" last digit of 5 - second to last digit remains the same
ending digit 8,9,0 results in "rounded" last digit of 0 - second to last digit increases by 1

No, digital transactions will not be rounded.

Are you asserting that every financial chain of transactions somehow results in an integer value of cents?

Hi
You indicate two outcomes for ending digit 0.
I don’t care how it gets rounded, just want to let you know.

We were talking about pennies and nickels being eliminated.

We were talking about rounding pennies not fractions of pennies.

"The Treasury will stop making pennies by early 2026, which will require businesses to start rounding up or down to the nearest five cents, "
Round to the nearest dime and you can get rid of nickels and quarters as well.

We need to have the old look of coins from past years like the Indian penny, Buffalo nickle, Liberty quarter, Morgan silver dollar.
