That vandalized stolen bust is a fitting tribute to a guy who wasted his God-given talent whoring and ingesting every controlled substance he could get his hands on.

The statue had it’s nose broken off and part of the mouth chipped away by souvenir hunters before it was stolen. It was also covered in graffetti.
“Croatian artist Mladen Mikulin carved the statue from white marble to mark the 10th anniversary of the singer’s death. But it disappeared in 1988, seven years after the bust was placed at the site.
A picture released by the French police shows the statue’s mouth and nose missing, as they had been before it was stolen”.

What the heck. It’s a mess. Get a sculptor to make a new bust now that the cemetery is guarded.
And why don’t they tell us what rat stole the bust ? Why should that person be protected? They should be charged with a crime.
