Such a good band. Should have stayed together and Mick Taylor should have stayed with the Stones. Oh well.

I remember that song.

“You’ll have to learn just like me, and that’s the hardest way”.

One of my favorites. Still have the album with the moving face.

The Faces, I was not familiar with.
Small Faces, I heard of.
Starting with their song “Itchycoo Park” from 1967.
I recall part of the refrain to this day:

“It’s all too beautiful!
It’s all too beautiful!”

The Jurassic version of Lucy in the sky etc

Just heard this song on an advert last weekend. Don’t know whose version, but never guessed it was that old of a song

Faces lead singer was some guy named Rod Stewart who first recorded the vocal but it never made the final cut.

For some reason, his vocal was replaced by Ronnie Wood who was the co-writer of the song.

Years later RS would record the song (again) as a solo artist - here’s a live version RS did with The Coors.

Wow....that’s great. 1998. Thanks much, that was really fun to watch.
I looked it up and The Corrs were last touring Australia.

I appreciate it.

I’m going to YouTube “Maggie May”. lol
