Sadly, I think you already suspect the correct answer like the rest of us. You replace a liberal with a liberal in Canada, and the smuggling will only accelerate.

Trump should have a solid plan for this event, because it absolutely is going to happen. This should be a non-starter, destroying any and all trade agreements with Canada if they don’t control their own border and drug traffic. You could put alot of Canadians out of jobs real real fast with a closed border.

Of course he is. His focus is on all things Green and environmental - the more extreme the better. Drugs and drug gangs, not so much. The Canadian military is likely unprepared to seal the border in any case. There are forests along most of it - perfect for concealment and smuggling.
