It’s an interesting philosophical point. No one can possibly give consent to being conceived. So in their view no one can legitimately by conceived.
I have a biblical worldview; consent and autonomy are not idols of mine so it does not affect me. However if consent is lord then we cease to exist as a people.

There is an entertaining LDS play titled, "Saturday's Warrior". I saw a live version, but it is available on video (or was a few years ago). I joined the LDS church on May 18, 1986, so today is an anniversary. The worldview you cite is more implied than explicit in the scriptures. The play is still entertaining.
