Happened just recently.
Woman was (falsely) accused of saying the N-word. She was arrested and charged for "disorderly conduct" and "three counts of breach of peace in the second degree."
I’m a Yale free-speech champion — arrested for words I never said.
Well, that sure sucks.
But it also proves my point. They had to attach the accusation to an actual criminal act. It did not stand alone, but had to be placed in conjunction with “disordly conduct” and “breach of peace”. Sounds concocted, and hopefully it won’t stand.
