Russia Hoaxer Marc Elias Sues Wyoming To Make It Easier For Noncitizens To Vote

Russia collusion hoaxer Marc Elias filed a lawsuit Friday challenging a new Wyoming law that makes it harder for noncitizens to register to vote.

Gov. Mark Gordon, R-Wyo., allowed House Bill 156 to become law on March 21 without his signature. The legislation requires prospective registrants to provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship in order to register to vote. Proof includes a U.S. passport, birth certificate, or naturalization papers, among other options. The legislation, which passed the state House 51 to eight and the state Senate by 26 to four, is slated to go into effect on July 1, 2025.

But Elias, alongside the Equality State Policy Center and American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) filed a lawsuit to overturn the will of the state, alleging the legislation violates the First and Fourteenth Amendments.

“When HB 156 becomes effective, it will impose new, burdensome, and entirely unnecessary requirements that will make it harder for eligible citizens to vote,” the suit claims. “The result will be the exclusion and disenfranchisement of citizens.”

The suit claims, in part, that “Women — as well as Hispanic, young, and low-income voters — are less likely to have acceptable documentation and, in many cases, face greater hurdles to obtaining it.” Women, the suit contends, “are more likely than men to be turned away when they go to register as a result of HB 156,” because of name changes resulting from marriage.

But this claim has been peddled — and disproven — before....SNIP

“as well as Hispanic, young, and low-income voters — are less likely to have acceptable documentation”

If they cash a government check, they should have them. Also, in today’s internet world those things are a click away for the most part.

Men like Marc Elias, Norm Eisen and Andrew Weissman seem to be the real leaders of the Democrat Party

They are engaged in the highest level lawfare and politicking, to push leftist leftist social engineering goals, and give Democrats long-term electoral advantages.

Who directs them? Or do they direct the candidates below them?

And the courts will not label this litigation frivolous and order Elias and company to pay legal fees for the nonsense, but if you bring a civil rights complaint against a municipal ordinance against putting signs in front of your house, you may well get declared to have filed a frivolous complaint.

“”””The legislation, which passed the state House 51 to eight and the state Senate by 26 to four, is slated to go into effect on July 1, 2025....””””

AZ and KS previously passed similar laws and those laws were voided by the courts or were downgraded.

We need more RED states to follow WY and keep forcing this issue.

No more of the “Under penalty of perjury, I declare I am a citizen”

Wyoming voters thumped Liz Cheney massively, thereby angering the Democrats. This is, in part, about that.

As to the "non-parisan" Equality State Policy Center in Laramie, it is a two-bit bunch operating in the same space as Wyoming Building & Construction Trades Council (part of the AFL-CIO), Hinckley Consulting, and officially partners with such as the LGBT+ Wyoming Interfaith Network which is hosting a screening in June of "Bad Faith -- Christian Nationalism's Unholy War on Democracy." Yeah, that non-partisan sort of stuff.

Illegals are not citizens, that’s the whole point .

They don’t have constitutional rights granted by any amendment, period.

It is absolutely insane that no ID is required to vote in most of the US - this is certainly true in my home state of California.

Is the left still claiming that "minorities" are too stupid to get IDs (which most of them obviously have) - or have they moved on to another lame excuse?

Even the most backward, 3rd world countries have voter ID or other methods of vote security in place:

Won’t mean a damned thing so long as mailin ballots are allowed. Not absentee, the mailin crappola that was ushered in by the CCP’s WuhanFlu hoax.

Why should noncitizens be allowed to register to vote at all?

Tell that jackass Elias that America already has too many voters. We don’t need any more. Especially foreigners. California and other blue states are so slow minded that it already takes them 6 to 12 months to count their ballots and declare a RAT the “winner”. Deport this idiot.
