Who tips them?
I did f&b work for over a dozen years and never heard of tipping the dishwasher. Bartender, busboy, hostess, yes, but not the dishwasher.
Is this something new?
They don’t get tipped directly, but a lot of wait staff will split their tips with the kitchen and other staff.
The kitchen usually gets a percentage of food sales.
