She may have been making well over that. Unless she was being paid under the table.That would seem to point to two possibilities:
- She was using a stolen S.S.#, which is a federal crime, or
- She was using no S.S.# at all, in which case she is also guilty of fraud and tax evasion.

Excellent points. She was breaking laws one way or the other. Sorry, Ana. Let this be a lesson to your fellow law breakers. We have an entire bloated bureaucracy devoted helping people obtain citizenship and/or work permits. I suggest you take advantage of those rules next time.
