The ceasefire is the chosen roadblock to an actual peace settlement.

The Eu/UK and Green Booger use that idiotic ceasefire nonsense because they know Russia will not trust Zelensky based on the last agreed upon, then trashed, treaty in Istanbul. After that clown show that Macron and his other EU snorters put on over the weekend, I would not blame Putin.

Trump should stay out of it this time. I am sure he wants to be there to see who is doing the most lying. LOL

All the media is saying earger the same thing, that the European pressure on Trump is to more deeply involve the US in what Marco Ruvio admitted was / is a "proxy war."

The current EU-ploitical class really wants to be obeyed, but not be asked to "lead." Ergo, Tusk's remark above. The Polish election is 18 May. Tusk really wants Europe as "a global force." Which implies, de facto, that currently they are not. Ergo that now-iconic photo of a call to President Trump....

Note those missing -- Orbán, Fico, Meloni, Vučić and other Europeans.
