Border bosses release shock update after mass brawl at ICE hub... as new video emerges

A heated scuffle outside a recently reopened immigration detention facility in New Jersey could result in even more arrests of Democratic politicians, an administration official tells Daily Mail.

Democratic Newark Mayor Ras Baraka was arrested at the facility on Friday after a dramatic clash with immigration enforcement officers.

Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin said there could be more arrests made, but said there is an ongoing investigation into the incident.

Video obtained by Daily Mail shows Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-N.J.) pushing and aggressively shoving at least one member of law enforcement guarding the gates at Delaney Hall, a Newark detention center that was recently reopened.

'Arrests are certainly on the table for anyone who assaults a police officer – members of Congress are not above the law,' McLaughlin told Daily Mail.

President Donald Trump's border czar Tom Homan warned elected Democratic officials that if they 'cross that line' from protesting to impeding, they will face consequences.

'They can stand out and scream all they want,' Homan said, but claimed any other actions will be treated appropriately. 'They can trespass, they'll be arrested. If they impede, they will be arrested.'

I had no idea why the Democrats are fighting on this issue - violent criminal aliens… but it seems increasingly that their motive is larger social unrest. They don’t want debate, or reason, or new laws. They want chaos.

You’re exactly correct. Are you familiar with Sal Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals? It and the Cloward/Piven strategy has become the dimocRat playbook.

No more walking across the aisle with outstretched hand in Congress from our side unless there’s a club in the hand.

Sounds good to me, but if the offenders are Democrat politicians, where do we deport them to?

They don’t want debate, or reason, or new laws. They want chaos. Same playbook they used in 2020. Even if it’s an 80-20 issue, you can recruit a lot of agitators from that 20%. It’s very Machiavellian of them. They are willing to sacrifice the social contract order hoping that enough violence in the streets will cause the 80% to have second thoughts.

I don't think it's that complex. Most of them are on the payroll of either/or/both the cartels and China. Their masters have noted that billions of dollars of criminal income has disappeared just because of Trump's stance on illegal immigration and border control. Less drugs and less human trafficking means drastic cuts. So they are no doubt being threatened with exposure and/or less pleasant things if they don't do EVERYTHING in their power to stop Trump even if it means committing violence.

No doubt there is some level of grift, graft and corruption- maybe even some level of straight criminality. I do agree with other posters that this is a strategy of chaos, but the motives may differ a bit. There are cash cows for all kinds of programs and a lot of people make a good living grifting off the needy and vulnerable. California spent $25 billion on homeless programs and we have more homeless and addicted and mentally ill than ever. (Not all homeless are drugged or crazy, I can drive you to parts of town where people live in campers. They work, they just can’t afford other housing. Their campers are all marked with signs to notify the police that this is someone’s home please don’t impound it for parking violations. It’s sad really.) The feds are investing that $25 billion but it would be no surprise to learn that the money went to a group that has nice offices and staff assistants and car allowances and benefits - positions all held by political operatives. But all they do is allocate money to another group that has nice offices and cars and payroll full of operatives. Those people then send the money to another group and so on and so on. By the time money gets to actual food and medicine and outreach - you’ll find they are using parolees to distribute food (free labor) purchased in bulk just before expiry, and enrolling people into Medicaid (eg not eve using the money allocated to them just shifting the needy into another program! Things like that. I’d be surprised if more than 30% even went to actual on the ground services for the needy.

That’s just CA and just homeless. In NY they had a program to send underprivileged youth to Disneyworld but the group just sent their own families, not at risk youth. In Baltimore they had a program to send youth to museums in New Orleans, but guess who got to go on that trip? Stacy Abrams set up a “charity” six months ago and Biden gave her $2 billion. This charity scam is imo the biggest grift going on, and it is being threatened with real oversight for the first time. So I have no doubt there is a massive “immigrant services” grift that these people are trying to protect. If there are no immigrants there is no grift.

So what were they trying to accomplish …turning illegal alien thugs, murderers and child rapists loose on the streets? Do they seriously think the American people would want this vermin turned loose?
