Too expensive. Like Guantanamo it’s more symbolism. Guantanamo wasn't for symbolism, it was to keep detainees from Afghanistan and Iraq off of U.S. soil so the Left couldn't sue in Federal courts on their behalf.
It was to circumvent lawfare.

Guantanamo isn’t just symbolism. It’s a great location to keep terrorists in prison and not able to harm or murder anyone.
If they escape, they go into Cuba, not American suburbs.
