It is amazing how little you can get a very capable PC for. I go back to the days when, for a couple decades, the machine you really wanted was about $3k.

Yes, I have thrown out PCs that cost many hundreds of dollars years ago. But prices will go up significantly if tariffs stay as they are. US much traded its industrial base.

Prices will go up far more now that M$ is insisting on the TPP chip on all motherboards in order to load Win11. This will make all present PC’s unusable as soon as they roll out the update.

I wonder who has bought stock in MBoard makers.
