In the UK, Leader of the Opposition, Kemi Badenoch, has said that the country has "just been shafted!"

In a post on X, Leader of the Conservative Party wrote: "When Labour negotiates, Britain loses.

"We cut our tariffs - America tripled theirs. Keir Starmer called this ‘historic.’ It’s not historic, we’ve just been shafted!"

This comes on top of Starmer’s recent trade deal with India which exempted Indian migrants to the UK from paying national health insurance for their first three years in country.

Don't expect the EU to share this feeling. They have their own agenda and a UK free to conduct this sort of negotiation isn't on it.
