One of the poorest countries in the world and even their public spaces are better maintained and cleaner than America’s biggest (blue) cities.
Having the Death Penalty for littering will do that.
It’s a shame when totalitarian, and in NoKo’s case - a 3rd world regime - can present a better front than the freest, richest country in the world .
Take San Francisco for example. The city is notoriously addled with people’s open use of fentanyl and other drugs, feces, encampments, and all manner of mental illness on display for both daily residents and tourists to regularly behold.
This while abortion clinics get federal funding in some places. So that the the upkeep of modern death mills is prioritized, while the greater community languishes away in rot and decay.
Go outside the city and the reality of NK's poverty and communist rule becomes apparent.
Havana Cuba has a “green zone” where only Cubans with work permits are allowed to enter.
