Totalitarian companies, you know the ones who think they own the company just because they built it and pay the workers, like to put their band on their employees just so everybody knows who their employees work for.

I really can’t see myself buying coffee (or whatever that stuff is) from these weirdos. And I don’t think Starbucks can either.
I rarely only go into Starbucks to buy a small black $2.25 coffee when I’m running about town. I have known people that go into SBUX to buy $20+ of coffee flavors every day. 260 week days X $20 = $5,200
You have to have money to burn to buy that much flavored coffee in a year.
I am old fashioned and nose rings make me sick to my stomach...how about those huge loops they put in their ears...disgusting.
Makes sense.
When I did property inspections, the summer dress code was tennis shoes, khaki shorts, and a short-sleeved polo.
When I do marketing meetings or educational classes, I wear pant suits, skirt suits, or dresses. My footwear is heels or attractive flats.
I never had a problem letting my team deviate from the dress code when the situation warranted; however, I expected them to be professionally dressed the rest of the time.
Since I’ve never set foot in a Starbucks I don’t know how they dress now. What’s so bad about a dress code?
Bingo. There should be no dress code. I don't want people hiding behind costumes. Let them show their true selves proudly. That way I can make decisions based on the facts in front of me.
How cute. They’ve found a cause they believe in!
Most of my work places furnished a uniform that all were expected to wear. No big deal. Better than getting my own clothes filthy dirty.
I would not drink any liquid beverage which that clown posse prepared.
They should just go start their own, not only does our coffee suck but our staff looks like shit, coffee chain.
I’ll post the obligatory “Baristas Manifesto” episode from Portlandia:

The person was probably shocked someone just wanted coffee only. All the people I know that go to all these coffee huts get all sorts of weird drinks, never just coffee. One person I know likes to get dry cappuccino’s. Which means it is supposed to be over half foam on areas of coffee. What!? Mind you, the cost of this is the same as a full cup of coffee. 🤦
Yes. But if this is a unionized workforce, then management must negotiate on any changes to a dress code as that alters working conditions. If done unilaterally without offering something in exchange for that, then it’s an unfair labor practice. You or I may not like that, but it’s the law.
Another worker then says, “We’re just expected to lie down and accept it,” as union members clap and cheer.
