For the past two decades, umpires were working with a "buffer zone" that gave them 2 inches of leeway — on all sides of the plate, inside and outside the strike zone — when they were graded on how accurately they called balls and strikes.
Now, however, that buffer zone has shrunk, from 2 inches on all sides to just three-quarters of an inch on all sides

Now a pitcher has to be in for 3 batters, pitch clock, rules on where you place fielders, base runner at second in extra innings, Unbalanced schedules, designated hitters, etc.

I saw the trailer once a while ago. I think it was on television.
But what about all the games that were won or lost on a bad call from the umpire? We can't go back and redo all those games. I say we stay with the human game of baseball with human umps (are these ump machines programmed like voting machines? How do you fix the game?)
why not just have AI make all the calls perfectly every time
