Very sad to hear. Pere Ubu has been one of my favorite groups since I first saw them perform at Urgh! in 1980. Probably seen them in concert at least 5 times.
Must admit I didn’t know much about them, but I knew the name, since they pretty much travelled in the same circles as my favorite band, XTC. I usually saw those two bands lumped together.
