It seemed whacky to me but I have known enough British people from different walks of life and different politics and they like the history and continuity and traditions and culture of their royalty, so I accept that it is their thing and fits them.
It works for them.
The British propaganda has brainwashed them.
The elites do propaganda because it works.
many of these properties now belong to the State.
I’ve seen articles, and the math, that this ‘ostentations’ lifestyle (Royal stuff) brings in enough tourist related $$ to more than pay for that lifestyle.
Go visit Britain, enjoy the nasty weather and don’t be surprised when many of these “Royal” venues charge you an entrance fee.
