This is a follow up story to one about a woman journalist whose body was returned by the Russians sans trachea and brain, her body showing signs of torture.

Maybe propaganda, maybe true. But considering Russia's past history of the gulags, how their own troops are treated, and the assassinations of regime opponents over just the last few years, the story is plausible.

Post note: I've been to Russia, and genuinely liked the people there. But I have no illusions about what their officialdom is capable of.
