I don’t know if your problem is related to the issue I had, but I’ll share it anyway. I live in an apartment building with a metal roof. When I went from a plain 3G phone to my first smart phone (iPhone), my signals dropped from 4 bars to 2, and I was having problems with all my calls. I’ve only used Verizon as my wireless service for my cell phones. Been with them for 26 years now. I got the iPhone because I’ve always used Apple computers. When this problem arose, I called them, and they sent me a network extender for free. They usually cost $250. With the network extender, at home I have 4 bars using my wi-fi. They recently contacted me that they needed to replace the old one because it was no longer supportable, so they sent me a new one for free again.
To each his own, lol. At one time I said that Apple products were for snobs, but a month ago I changed from IPhone 11 Pro to the 16 Pro Max and I love it. Tried to talk my wife into getting one, but she has her Google Pixel 9 and she’s happy with it. I don’t like Apple’s politics, but that aside, it’s a great product. I’m not gonna say one is better than the other, we all have our preferences.
Bluetooth on? Maybe you’re calling on your headphones without wearing them? (I’ve done it).

Have you had an eye test for Glaucoma ?
The one where they say you’ll feel a little puff of air in your eye.
When they said Hey Buddy, you’re our favorite customer, don’t tell anyone and “We’ll strengthen you’re signal”
It was at that moment you should have felt a similar Puff of Air, Going up you’re ASS !
Think Man Think ! If they could strengthen you’re signal they’d strengthen everyone’s signal !
