I’d like to smash that Lenin statue in Seatle.
Tommorrow, the left will use May.1st as a protest day, and push for policies that thier hero, that pus ridden maggot marx pushed for. And our side will be celebrating The National Day of Prayer. THAT is what the left TRULY fears.
Great idea, then the nazis could have taken over the USSR and been impossible for us to eliminate. Any other cool ideas?
“I’d like to smash that Lenin statue in Seattle.”
Funny how that survived the BLM and Antifa riots.
Pretty accurate. But none of that is part of this discussion.
We are talking about Stalingrad.
BWAHAHAHahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
You just made a most thoroughly ridiculous suggestion ... The krauts utterly lacked the manpower or industrial power to do such a thing. But communism infesting most of the world, and even heavily polluting these United States, was just a wonderful outcome. You can thank the socialist Roosevelt for empowering the communist Stalin and his foul successors.
Do you suffer from the delusion that somehow International Communism is less bad than National Socialism?
Don’t mention the war.
The only hope the Nazis had was to divide and conquer, which meant actually treating the occupied Russians like human beings.
It must be really irritating for you to watch DJT and Putin work toward peace.
That would have been better than raping and murdering them ... only to have the Russkis return the favor when the Red Army marched on Berlin.
Yeah, I would like to see that. One thing the Soviets excelled at was monuments.
The human misery there is just incalculable. Two dictatorships in a death match, with brutal enforcers on both sides, especially the Soviet side.
And we keep hearing about German military prowess, but there was no reason to capture Stalingrad. The krauts should have bypassed it with a powerful defense to contain it, and gone straight into the Caspian oilfields.
Our island hopping approach of bypassing some Jap strongholds was so much more efficient.
Same for Moscow. Taking Moscow didn’t ever mean victory, it just meant you’d be holding a torched empty Moscow All that material was wasted and should have been in that thrust.
Guess it all worked out.
Paris ... of course. Wonder if they have a Mecca station now?
To the Peepers, Putin can do no wrong. Every now and then they expose themselves.
Gee, that’s got to cheer Russians up.
After 70 years they’re back to a state of siege, destruction and starvation.
Progress!
The only thing is taking Moscow, may have resulted in Stalin being taken out. Hitler should have emphasized trying to destroy the command structure from Stalin on down.
No, but the Soviets could have never come close to stopping the nazis without the aid we sent them. And yes, Nazism was worse back then because it was German and more organized and dangerous.
We successfully dealt with communism internationally except in a few small gadfly places today. But Nazi success in the east would have been horrific. They would have had access to massive resources of the USSR.
You are under the delusion that Nazism is any different than Communism. There are only a few differences in who owns the factories and that’s about it. It was a good thing to have most of WWII fought on the Eastern Front. 7 out of 9 Germans died there. Glad we didn’t have to attempt that with American men.
Stalin was a true National Socialist. Instead of German, he did it with Russians.
Despite the fact that he was ethnically Georgian. But then again, Hitler wasn’t German neither.
We successfully dealt with communism internationally ...
No, we didn't. We sort of "dealt with" the USSR, only to have it regenerate as the "Russian Federation" with the same global imperial goals. Meanwhile, the Peoples Republic of China remains communist in name, fascist in practice. Really no different. Worse, International Communism infests these United States along with western Europe. So we didn't really deal with Intenational Communism at all.
You are under the delusion that Nazism is any different than Communism.
That is an utterly and damnably false statement and you owe me a sincere apology.
Eleanor Roosevelt thought that the Communists were just liberals in a hurry.
