It’s 100 days into President Donald Trump’s second term, and his administration has continued to move at “Trump speed.”
The president has signed a record-breaking 142 executive orders, taking actions such as ending the “catch and release” policy on illegal immigration, declaring a national energy emergency, cutting DEI-related funding and policies, and downsizing the federal bureaucracy, among others.
He also signed into law the Laken Riley Act against illegal alien crime and oversaw the deportation of more than 139,000 illegal immigrants to secure the southern border.
But, predictably, the corporate media have spent the 100 days making the story about themselves.
On Tuesday afternoon, the White House sent out an article titled “100 DAYS OF HOAXES: Cutting Through the Fake News” that mocked the corporate media’s main-character syndrome. The release lists more than 50 of the most hilarious and deceptive media hoaxes.
Unsurprisingly, the first hoax mentioned was a story from CNN.
When CNN attempted to “fact-check” Trump’s joint address to Congress on March 4, it initially rated the president’s claim that the Biden administration spent millions of taxpayer dollars on “making mice transgender” false.
The White House, however, brought the receipts on March 5. An article on the White House website titled, “Yes, Biden Spent Millions on Transgender Animal Experiments,” listed and linked to the government funded experiments.
The Biden administration gave $455,000 to a study, “A Mouse Model to Test the Effects of Gender-affirming Hormone Therapy on HIV Vaccine-induced Immune Responses”; $2,500,000 to “Reproductive Consequences of Steroid Hormone Administration” on mice; and $3,100,000 to a study that looked into “gonadal hormones as mediators of sex and gender influences in asthma” in mice.
In total, the Biden administration wasted $8 million of taxpayers’ hard-earned money on these experiments.
CNN was forced to update its story to say the claim is not false, but “needs context”:
An earlier version of this item incorrectly characterized as false Trump’s claim about federal money being spent for ‘making mice transgender.’ The article has been updated with context about the spending, which was for research studies on the potential human health impacts of treatments used in gender-affirming care.
Another one of the media hoaxes listed by the White House was a story from The Associated Press that claimed Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard called Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin “very good friends.”
The story, initially titled “Gabbard Says Trump And Putin Are ‘Very Good Friends,’ Focused On Strengthening Ties,” was pulled down, before the AP published it with the following correction:
This story was updated on March 17, 2025, to delete erroneous reporting that U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin ‘are very good friends.’ Gabbard was talking about Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
When the Daily Caller News Foundation asked for comment, a spokesperson for the AP said the story was pulled because “it did not meet [its] standards.”
The ordeal enraged Alexa Henning, a DNI spokesperson, who accused the media of malicious incompetence....SNIP

The media would lie?
I have not believed the news media since 1964 when Lyndon Johnson said he would not send American boys to SE Asia. When elected on a no war platform he sent troops to SE Asia.
Also ceased believing in the news media when Walter Cronkite made his spiel about Vietnam when the US had just kicked the North Vietnamese a$$ who had just violated the TET ceasefire.
I have a good friend who is a Blue Dog Democrat, meaning that he would even vote for a blue dog so long as it was a democrat. He rejects all news or information from podcasts or any internet source. He relies on the alphabet networks, the NYT, and WaPo for all of his information. When challenged on this, he explains that those sources are professional news organizations, whose reporters dare not misreport anything or there will be consequences. That is, they will lose their jobs. Of course, he is blind to so much that contradicts his belief, such as Russia-Gate, the Hunter Biden Laptop, the origin of COVID, and so many other recent mainstream news hoaxes. This is, for me, an insight into how democrats think and why they believe what they do.

People who are Democrats believe lying is fine if it advances their desires. They won’t say that, but we know they think that because they push things daily that they know are lies.
‘Blue dogs’ are moderates. ‘Yellow dogs’ are the fanatical devotees. Or that’s what each was called traditionally.
This lying thing is getting out of hand.
Many videos, including Conservative videos are just outright lying.
All the headlines and thumbnail photos are FAKE! Either they are an outright lie, deceptive, or in the case of the thumbnail photos have NOTHING to do with the content, don’t even appear in the content, or appear for just a second.
Many videos are AI. You can spot them because the narrator mispronounces ordinary words or common names that NO REAL Person would do. Once they fix this, you will not be able to spot them.
Since it has become so prevalent to LIE and Deceive that it is now like a game. The media who has always lied or deceived has now taken it to a higher level.
Example: The US (TRUMP) has DEPORTED several young children (US citizens) one with stage 4 CANCER.
NOT TRUE! No matter how many administration officials including cabinet secretaries refute this LIE, the media continues using it even though anyone with a brain KNOWS it isn’t factual (TRUE).
Maryland Man is another. The media will not let this FALSE tale go. WHY? Because they think it hurts Trump.
I just read a (a couple actually) heart tugging AI story. Clearly (to me). In the comments EVERYONE said the guy was a HERO, the little girl deserves your prayers, thank Jesus this man was there to save her, and on an on.
NONE of them realizing the whole stories were FAKE and that the thumbnail photos were FAKE.
These propaganda korporations need to be find for every penny of such illegal political contributions-in-kind because that’s exactly what it is.
A reporter gathers the facts and lets the reader decide what they mean.
A journalists is the star of the story and it’s all about what they think and feel and how you should think and feel the same.
It’s one of the themes of the Humphrey Bogart film “Deadline USA”.
Wasn’t Cronkite one of the people that McCarthy pointed out.
I just cancelled my subscription to my local paper after they advocated that EVERY illegal alien was entitled to due process regardless of reason. And they wonder why they’re losing subscribers.
HOAX: Deranged “filmmaker” Michael Moore questioned whether deported illegal immigrants would go on to cure cancer or stop “that asteroid (sic) that’s gonna hit us.”
FACT: Moore’s statement was a strong early contender for the dumbest, most ridiculous statement of the year considering those deported illegal immigrants were violent criminals.

I wanted local news but stopped watching the talking heads on the alphabets years ago. Rush Limbaugh suggested it & I remember thinking, that’s genius and stopped cold.
What you are seeing is Cloward-Piven for courts. The goal is to mandate via court orders that illegals get due process. If that happens it would, in a way, take centuries to deport all the illegals.
There is a reason George Soros has put millions into the court system regarding judges and prosecutors, he lives on chaos and disruption. Personally, I’m not sure that Soros has all the money they say he does because he was taking millions into his bogus NGO’s from entities like USAid. I feel that at some point Soros will be in the target area, we will see.
