It’s your funeral, Canada.
Not a friend to its citizenry, either...
Snatched from the jaws of victory. Weird they (s)elected someone worse than Castro’s kid. And their legislators ain’t much better. “carney” is an appropriate name for this assclown. Maybe they can be part of the ‘eu’.
Looks like the Canadians got themselves a little Nazi running things...

Just a reminder: If this is correct (both my comment and the summary of the OP)

then all reports on carney/canada should be viewed in a very, very different light.
The response to the truckers basically began Trudeau’s ultimate fall in popular support as there were very poor optics with the emergency being declared and a few bank accounts frozen.
The subject of discussion must become building a Canadian Wall.
The border with Canada will become the route for illegal immigration that is supported by the Liberal Canadian government.
Do Canadians want a leftist dictator? Or is voting corrupted there like the US?
Canada is about to become a full Communist State bordering us. Tariffs are not enough, full sanctions are now in order.
A prevailing media theme is that President Trump wrecked the upcoming conservative victory over the liberals by talk of Canada becoming a 51st state.
The Canadian Nationalism sentiment shift produced enough liberal votes to carry the day.
I believe this to be true.
Canadians screwed up just like the Brits screwed up with Starman
And they just voted to continue the fascism.
Goodbye, Canada! It was nice knowing you. You’re finished.
I’m pretty sure that talk of the 51st state by the hated Orange Man did fire up many of the Libs.
Carney is a Globalist and that’s all they had to know but D’oh brains were turned off
With overlords like that who needs enemies, eh?
Carney is like Biden, voters are going to be begging for change soon.
Trump’s remarks likely played a role in many ultimately choosing to stay with the Liberals for now. People who yammer on (I know that that is the common pastime here on FR) about how the Tories blew a 20 point that they had back in the January/February period fail to take into consideration that a lot of that lead involved very fair-weather support that in turn had more to do with a verdict on Trudeau personally than the Tory brand itself. Thus, he had to leave the premiership.
A similar thing happened here in Ontario a decade ago with Liberal premier Dalton McGuinty having poor polling numbers (due to constant scandals) and in a minority government. Kathleen Wynne ultimately came in and won a majority in 2014, only to lose big time in 2018 with her own leadership issues and scandals.
I am of the mind something similar will happen with Carney and buyer’s remorse among many voters.
I read an article yesterday that pointed out "sedition", under Canadian law, requires violence. The convoy was never violent.
