They have destroyed this country with lies. I hate compromises of the Bill of Rights but every right has been infringed or adulterated except the freedom of the press. Maybe it is time to take a look at this option. A “truth” amendment would fix all this social engineering. It would be 100% positive and there would be absolutely no one harmed by it. The original intentions were to protect the right to share truth. Now it is being used to protect sharing lies and social engineering.

The rise of hundreds of podcasters and alternative media sources has overwhelmed the power of the legacy media, the audience for which has been shrinking particularly in this decade. Newspapers are trusted by 18% and distrusted by 48% of the population. Television news is trusted by 12% and distrusted by 56% of the population. These figures are as of 2024. In 1972, 68% of the public placed great trust in the media while only 6% distrusted it. With DOGE cutting off laundered funds going to these sources, the possibility that RFK, Jr. will end drug advertising on TV, thus ending Big Pharma ending their subsidizing the legacy media, and the possibility that PBS will finally be weaned off Federal funding, their ability of the traditional media to influence the public will be decreasing.
