Scam or not, back in the 80s, Crazy Eddies DID have the best prices in the NJ/NY area for audio equipment, TVs, computers and video games. Everything was cutting edge.

Back in the same era, us folks in the California Southland were treated to "Cal Worthington and his dog Spot." Nonstop commercials. "Spot" was anything but a dog.
