Judges play stupid games and win stupid prizes.
Another week where America turns its attention to a rotten judiciary which is fast erasing any respect we once had for it.
As the prior outrageous injunctions by numbers of (judge shopped) District Courts make their way up the judicial ladder, even more of them were issued this week. I think everything the President has done is the object of at least one District Court injunction. In the meantime, corruption of the judiciary has become so overt that two judges were placed under arrest this week.
The case that particularly caught my attention this week unsurprisingly is once again from the District of Columbia.
Federal law makes it a crime for non-citizens to vote in federal elections (18 U.S.C. Sec. 611). D.C. federal district court judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly issued an injunction against an Executive Order requiring proof of citizenship to vote and for welfare applicants to prove their citizenship before being given voter registration forms (LULAC v. Executive Office of the President):
Section 2(a) mandates that the Election Assistance Commission (EAC) revise the Federal Form to require documentary proof of citizenship. Both the civil rights groups and the Democratic Party moved to enjoin Section 2(a). The bulk of the Trump Administration’s defense was that the challenge was not yet ripe. However, the DDC pointed to a letter -- which DOJ counsel at oral argument claimed “no knowledge” of -- sent by the EAC to the chief election officials in the States. As that is a required part of the EAC’s process, the DDC found that the case was ripe.
On whether the plaintiffs are likely to succeed on the merits, the DDC concluded that States have the power to set voting qualifications -- subject to the anti-discrimination voting rights amendments

Thank you very much and God bless you.
And they are not even embarrassed.
So an executive order saying to follow federal law is an illegal order?
“If Don Corleone had all the judges, and the politicians in New York, then he must share them, or let us others use them. He must let us draw the water from the well. Certainly he can present a bill for such services; after all... we are not Communists.”
Judge and expect to be judged. These republic destroying POS judges are EVIL and should be given the punishment for TREASON. Justice? LOL
...and tried before a military tribunal.
Yes, whatever it takes.
The current set of "activist judges" are not expecting the judgment that will be being returned to them as they judge.

Why not, judges seem to think the Constitution is often Unconstitutional.
When “Judges” ignore, or pervert, the law there is no law.
Speak for yourself. I have had no respect for them for most of my life. I have long regarded the judiciary as Arrogant @$$holes who do not follow the law, but who just make it up as they go along through creative "interpretations".
I've had nothing but disgust for Liberal judges since the 1970s when they created Roe v Wade out of lies and twisted logic, (based on the terribly written 14th amendment) and they have been doing this same sort of nonsense with countless other decisions as well. (Usually with the badly written 14th amendment as the foundation of their wacko decisions.)
The more I learned of the various examples of federal court activism, the more I have realized the Federal Judiciary has always been a problem, but they became way worse after FDR and Truman had 20 something years to stack the Federal Judiciary with liberal wackos.
Liberal judges are, and have always been disgusting, and in my opinion should be absolutely disqualified from holding any judicial position.
The EV haters aren’t the only Molotov Cocktail throwers and Swastika wearers in AOC’s “Amerika”.

The judge ruled correctly on a question that was not asked. The EO merely cuts federal funding to states that do not establish citizenship during voter registration. The judge ruled on whether the Executive branch can demand compliance. It cannot. That’s up to the states and Congress.
The Executive branch is well within its limits to deny funding for non compliance with federal law. SCOTUS already has a few cases teed up to tackle this.
This tyrant judge will lose on appeal.

I can remember when John Roberts said most important to him was keeping the integrity of the courts.
SOB is actually the Court Jester. Respect for the American legal system is over. He is a failure.
The bigger question is how may will have to be arrested before they all get religion?
Clarice Feldman is a great writer. I used to get her articles, I’ll have to check American Thinker more often. I wonder if they send articles in email.
